The Honors Program will begin viewing applications for the Fall 2023 semester in mid-February. Students admitted into the Honors Program must be students who accepted UIW as the university they will be attending in the upcoming Fall semester.

A: What is your understanding of the UIW Interdisciplinary Honors Program and why do you want to be a part of it? 

B: Consider at least two passions or skills you’ve explored in school. Activity Summary

The Honors Program seeks applicants with a variety of interests and experiences, evaluating applicants in extracurricular activities, volunteer services and work experience as well as academic achievement.

  • Summarize your activities, experiences, and awards:  maximum of ten responses per category.
  • Limit your responses to activities completed within the past four years.  If you were involved in more than ten activities, list only those you feel are the most relevant and significant experiences. 
  • You may choose not to list any activities as they are not required.  You may complete as many or as few as you choose. 
  • Each completed component requires a start and end date: month and year is sufficient.

 You may upload an existing resume as your Activity Summary as long as each listing meets the criteria listed below:

  1. Each listing includes:
    1. Name of organization
    2. Your role in the organization
    3. Length of time in the organization (start and end dates)
    4. The activities you performed with the group, your role in those activities and the outcome(s)
    5. No more than ten listings within each category.
